| Resumo | "These are the Conference Proceedings of the Workshop-Seminar “China, Latin America and the Caribbean and the European Union – A triangular relationship?” which took place on November 4th 2015 in Hamburg, Germany. This event was organised by the EU-LAC Foundation, CAF - Development Bank of Latin America and the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA). Based on China’s emergence as a new economic and political power and an active member of the international community, as well as the increasingly complex political and economic relationships this country has established both towards the European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean, the conveners of the Workshop-Seminar invited distinguished experts, scholars and representatives from international institutions to discuss the current political and economic dynamics between the three parties, and their implications. By identifying potential scenarios, opportunities, risks and challenges, the participants provided first-hand insights and assessed, in exchange with the audience, whether there was room for an enhanced political and economic collaboration between the three regions. The Conference Proceedings offer a summarised version of the opening debate, the presentations of the invited speakers, as well as the discussions that took place during all thematic panels of the event." | "Estas son las Actas de Seminario “China, América Latina y el Caribe y la Unión Europea - ¿una relación triangular?” que tuvo lugar el día 4 de noviembre 2015 en Hamburgo, Alemania. Este evento fue organizado por la Fundación EU-LAC, CAF-Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina y el Instituto Alemán de Estudios Globales y Regionales (GIGA). Basándose en el surgimiento de China como un nuevo poder económico y político, y como un miembro activo de la comunidad internacional, además de las relaciones políticas y económicas cada vez más complejas que este país ha establecido tanto hacia la Unión Europea como hacia América Latina y el Caribe, los coordinadores del Seminario-Taller invitaron a distinguidos expertos, estudiosos y representantes de instituciones internacionales para discutir las dinámicas políticas y económicas actuales entre las tres partes, y sus implicaciones. Al identificar escenarios potenciales, oportunidades, riesgos y desafíos, los participantes proporcionaron unas percepciones de primera mano, y evaluaron por medio de intercambios con la audiencia, si había espacio para una mejor colaboración política y económica entre las tres regiones. Las Actas de Conferencia ofrecen una versión resumida del principio del debate, las presentaciones de los oradores invitados además de los discursos que tuvieron lugar durante todos los paneles temáticos del evento."
